I first want to tell you that you have a very dedicated employee in Tammy. Friday morning, before Tammy arrived, the power went out in the neighborhood. Tammy walked up to the 12th floor, carried Nigel down the stairs, when he refused to walk down them, and carried him back up the stairs after his walk. How she managed to find the energy to walk back downstairs after all of that, I do not know. I am so thankful that he has someone to look after him that cares so much about him.   Tammy, thank you so much for being so dedicated. Ashlin has spent the summer taking my dog Micah for walks during the day.  She does a wonderful job!  I always look forward to her notes telling me about what happened during the time they spent together.  Micah is always happy and much more calm when i came home on the days Ashlin walks him.  It feels good to know that I have someone who I can trust and that I know will take such good care of my Micah while I'm not around. I would recommend Ashlin to anyone who is looking for someone who will take great care of their pets while they are away.  Thanks!

Ashlin has been a fantastic dog walker and companion for our 14 year old dog, Frankie. She has let us know each day how their walks went with her notes and how Frankie did since she is an older dog and sometimes doesn't want to walk far. Ashlin has gone above and beyond with her responsibilities and has even cleaned up our carpet when Frankie had gotten sick. This would have been easy to just let go, but she went ahead and took care of it, which says a lot about her integrity. Ashlin has shown that she is trustworthy and has definitely eased our minds with leaving our dog in such good care.

 I wanted to let you know as soon as I could how happy and pleased we were with Maby! She took such fantastic care of Gracie and she was so good
about keeping us posted on how she was doing! It was such a relief to us and totally unexpected. You can tell she just has the kindest heart and I
felt totally comfortable leaving my most prized possession in her care :) My neighbor even stopped by to tell us that she saw Maby out walking Grace
and she said the two of them looked so happy together. She went on to say that she even noticed that Maby stayed for a while because she could hear
them playing and she saw our light was on for a while. My neighbor is a real "watch dog" (no pun intended), so to hear that kind of feed back from

Amber has been wonderful with our new puppy.  He was very sick when we first adopted him and she helped give him the care he needed.  Now that he is healthy she has been really great about giving him the play time he needs and helping to reinforce our housebreaking efforts.  Amber has been really responsible and reliable.  She has also been accomodating to our schedule and has been able to schedule extra visits when we've needed them.  She has a great attitude and I know our puppy looks forward to her visits.  We would definately recommend her for any kind of pet care.

Just a note to let you know that Maria did a fine job with the girls last weekend, and we are very appreciative.   They clearly were fed on their schedule and the box scooping was done as requested (it’s easy to tell when we have been away if the box is kept clean or not—no odor at all when we returned).

Congratulations Shannon! I know that statistics say that it's incredibly difficult for a small business to survive past its first year, let alone five! Please thank Julian for walking Hattie on Saturday in that god awful weather!  My mom said she put the Thera-Paw boot on Hattie and they went for good first walk before the heavy rain.  Then Hattie came back and took a long, long, long nap before the second walk.  Julian did a great job drying the “Queen” off after the second walk in the drenching rain.  Hattie was tuckered out Saturday night.  A tired dog is a good dog.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to share how very happy we have been with Walking Paws and Sandy in particular.  We have two very active shepherd mixes – “willful” Otto who is friendly but has a lot of “I want to go where I want to go” hound in him, and “skittish” Digby, who is sweet but rather wary and afraid of strangers and other dogs.  So despite a desperate need for a mid-day break for our boys, we were a bit concerned about having a “stranger” coming in to care for them.
 
Well, we didn’t get a stranger, we got Sandy!  She’s friendly, fun, firm and ever so flexible whenever we need it!  If we happen to be home on a weekday I think Otto and Digby are a little disappointed when Sandy doesn’t’ come by.  And do they ever go wild if she sees all of us out walking and jumps out of her car to give the boys a hug. Even our parrot Alfie is enjoying Sandy’s attention when she visits each day (not to mention the peanut she gives him!)
 
Walking Paws and Sandy have provided us with professional, friendly and reliable care as well as piece of mind that our pets are in great hands. We’ve been so comfortable that we’ve also used Walking Paws for extended house/pet sitting when we’ve g/ne away for a weeks vacation.  We give both Walking Paws and Sandy “4 Paws Up!”

We have been using Walking Paws for almost a year now.  We travel quite a bit and hated kenneling our one cat. 
 
Then we got a kitten, and decided that we wanted to find a pet sitter. It wasn't the cost that made us decide, it was the fact that the kennel wouldn't let the two cats sleep together in the same cage.  My cats are real cuddlers.
 
The older cat is shy around new people and had a traumatic time in the kennel.  When we got him home, he would run whenever we got ready to leave the house.
 
Now, with Walking Paws, Sissy comes to the house and not only feeds them and changes their box, but she plays with them and cuddles with them.  Even my older cat lets her hold him and play with him.  She is meticulous, reliable, and gives them the love that I would have given them if I had been home.
 
I would recommend these ladies completely.  My cats act like I just went to the store when I come home from a 3-week trip.  I couldn't ask for anything more.

To Whom It May Concern,

I highly recommend Walking Paws. Walking Paws has provided daily walks and multiple in-house overnight stays for my two dogs for over a year. Walking Paws is dependable, caring, and very accommodating to my ever fluctuating schedule. 

I have peace of mind that my dogs get some interaction with a person during the day and have the opportunity to go for a walk. In a few instances when my dogs have been recovering from illness, or acting under the weather, Walking Paws let me know how they acted during the day and if they did anything out of the ordinary.

I know if the dogs could put their two cents in they would give their kudos as well. They have loved their walkers although they have lost a couple due to newborn babies!

I have known Sissy and her family for the past 10 years.  She is very good with animals.  She lives with me and has for the past 2 years.  I have two min pins that she loves very much.  She lets them out every day and takes them for walks.  I also help with Animal Allies and Sissy is a great help with that.  She watches the animals when I am at work or away.  Sometimes they are little so they need extra love and care and she is very good at that.  I think she would do anything to help them.  I would recommend Sissy for any animal care position.  She would take great care of your pet.

Shannon has been the first and only dog walker my 5 month old Miniature Schnauzer (Maddox) has had.  I interviewed a half a dozen dog walkers before Maddox and I met Shannon.  Shannon was recommended by my Vet.  Maddox adores Shannon, she runs and plays with him and has become his "play pal".  I have observed him greeting Shannon and he is so happy to see her.  He is so content when she is with him.  Maddox is a very playful puppy and requires someone with lots of energy and that is Shannon.

 Shannon LeViner worked full time for my company from 1996-2004.  Over almost a decade, Shannon performed her job of executive assistant and office manager superbly.  In that time, we grew from about 50 employees to 200, and Shannon's responsibilities grew commensurately.  She oversaw a budget of over $1,500,000 and breathes life into the idea that it is truly the "assistants" of the world that really get things done. 

 One of Shannon's responsibilities was to help me with my dog during the work day.  Over time, my first dog, Oskar (a friendly male Rottweiler) came to love her perhaps more than he loved me.  She would walk him about an hour a day (as well as "field trips" to play with her dog, or to PetSmart, etc).  But, even for the remainder of the day, he spent most of his time over at her desk, or following her around the office.  When I would travel, Shannon kept Oskar at her home 95% of the time; these were sometimes long trips, as much as a month at a time.  At age nine Oskar got bone cancer, and I decided to amputate his front leg in the hope that he might live a few more years.  And in fact, he did... he made it two more years, but the first two months after the surgery were very difficult.  As a single person, the responsibility fell on me alone to help him do absolutely everything-it was very stressful to say the least.  Fortunately for me, Shannon pitched right in, going far beyond the call of duty as my assistant.  Without going into the details, it is fair to say that Shannon helped take care of Oskar in ways that you could not ask anyone other than a loving family member to do.

 After several months, I bought another Rottweiler, and again, Shannon was there to be his "mom."  Only this time, it was from the very start with a new puppy.  As we all know, puppies are quite a challenge.  Long story short, he was as much her dog as mine.  We both trained him, disciplined him and loved him.  Unfortunately, he had hip dysplasia at the age of 5 months, and I decided to go with surgery.  Once again, it was very difficult handling a 40 pound puppy that couldn't be allowed to walk without someone holding him up.  And once again, Shannon was right there, helping me (and Ferro) through it all. 

 Ferro recovered as hoped, all to meet the greatest difficulty of all-Shannon was leaving to start her own business.  Thankfully, it was a pet care business, and Ferro could continue to see her.  Of course, I was very disappointed to see her go, but that's life, as they say.  As a testament to Ferro's attachment to Shannon, even though she left full time employment over four months ago and is not here when we arrive in the morning, the first thing Ferro does when we walk in is to literally run to her old desk to see if she is there.  Fortunately, Ferro's "mom" is here an hour a day when she comes by on her daily visit.

 When it comes to choosing someone to take care of your beloved four-legged friend, I know with certainty that you could not make a better choice than Shannon LeViner.
